Take your putter and address the golf ball 2. Support the lower shaft of the putter with one foot to maintain the angle of the shaft 3. Gently release the pressure of your grip 4. Watch what happens Notice how the clubface of your putter rotates clockwise around the axis of the shaft (right handed clubs). This rotation is due to every putter’s center of gravity being located at some distance behind the axis of the shaft.
